I had been contemplating laser eye surgery for a long time and after years of being long-sighted and not terribly keen with trying contact lenses, my son came across Optimax on the Internet. He requested a brochure, which detailed what was involved.
 

Between recording and television work, there never seemed to be a suitable time to arrange a consultation but eventually the time came and Dr Patel talked me through the whole process, answering any questions I had.
 

A week later, I had LASIK treatment for long sight. I was warned that there may be slight discomfort afterwards which was fine having rested for a few hours and taking some painkillers. After my rest I was ready to go out!
 

There was an immediate improvement in my vision and over the past couple of weeks I can honestly say that I am delighted with the results. A week after treatment I performed on stage and it is just wonderful to actually 'see' my audience - which I have not been able to do in many years.
 

Although surgery may not be everyone's preferred choice of correction, Optimax has definitely worked for me and I would recommend them to anyone for their pre/post care, thorough consultations and friendly staff.
