“I’m fresh out the treatment, feeling great actually, surprisingly
enough. And I think a lot of that had to do with, you know, the
doctor, the
consultants who, talked me through everything step-by-step. I was,
I felt very comfortable throughout the whole thing. You do feel
pressure; there is some tension in, on your eyes. But, this is not
painful, there’s no extreme discomfort.
Waking up this morning, like I said, I felt
exhilarated. It was just one of the most amazing things. I’m good
enough to drive, I can look into a computer screen. I’m great to go
back to work. And this is all within 24 hours of the treatment. And
totally unexpected, I didn’t think I’d be, you know, well enough to
do any of those things yet. So it’s fantastic, I’m very happy.
Waking up this morning, I took the shields off my eyes, opened
my eyes, and it was just incredible. It was one of the most
exhilarating feelings I’ve had in my life; I mean I’m still
beaming! I can’t stop smiling. Definitely, deciding on coming to
Optimax, and having my treatment done from here,
was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made in my life. I mean,
it's seriously, it’s all worth it.”
