had IntraLase Wavefront LASIK laser eye treatment in April 2009. Treated

"Being able to see is great. Just, you know,
being able to wake up and see, and not having to bother with
solutions, contact lenses or glasses. It’s brilliant.
I do think people look at me differently. I
used to have to wear glasses a lot, so I used to feel really
drabby, even when I did make an effort, and now I don’t need to
worry about that.
It has made a difference, socially, in my
social life as well because, as I said, it’s with the glasses, just
not having to wear glasses. And you know, when I walk out now, I
can do my eye make up and feel good, whereas before it was under my
glasses so I didn’t feel there was any point, so I used to go out
looking like a mess.
I’d say the staff definitely met my
expectations. I was a bit hesitant coming in the first time,
because of the whole concept of laser; they
put me at ease, they were friendly, they talked me through the
procedure, they were really good.
I’d definitely recommend Optimax to friends, I have done, and I
will carry on doing. I think it’s a brilliant, life changing, kind
of, experience."
