Laser Eye Surgery Lifetime Aftercare Guarantee
Terms & Conditions
Patients will qualify for Lifetime Aftercare provided
that:
The patient has not undergone other eye surgery by another doctor
since surgery at Optimax. The patient can demonstrate
they have attended eyesight examinations at two yearly
intervals.
The patient has followed post-operative instructions and has
attended aftercare appointments as directed until discharged by Optimax.
Lifetime Aftercare consists of:
Any necessary and available care and/or treatment at
Optimax as recommended by an Optimax Doctor as a result of
complications of laser treatment.
Lifetime Aftercare does not include:
- Patients who develop the need for
reading glasses (Presbyopia - the natural deterioration of sight
characterised by the need for reading glasses which commonly occurs
around the mid 40's) or whose sight changes naturally.
- Patients who have had an accident or
have a disease/conditions/complications not related to laser eye
surgery.
- The on-going consequential costs of complications for example
contact lens, glasses, drops, solutions or medication.
