Dr Marzena Raszewska-Steglinska is an experienced ophthalmic surgeon who has been working continuously as an Ophthalmologist since 2001.
She is registered with the General Medical Council (GMC) and is on the specialist register as an Ophthalmologist.
She graduated in 1999 from the Medical University of in Lodz, Poland in 1999.
From the outset her medical studies focused on Ophthalmology and she established an Ophthalmology research unit at her university.
Also during this period she joined the Ophthalmological team at University Hospital in Cardiff, and worked on a voluntary basis at London's Western Eye Hospital in London.
She completed the Ophthalmology Training Programme in Lodz in 2009.
Throughout her training period she has gained a wealth of experience in different types of eye surgery including refractive surgery (Cataract removal and PC/AC IOL), eyelid surgery, and anti-glaucoma surgery. She is highly experienced in a range of laser treatments.
Dr Raszewska-Steglinska regularly attends eye-related courses and conferences and her work has appeared in journals such as the European Journal of Ophthalmology and others.
She is dedicated to the care of her patients and furthering her career in Ophthalmology.
Dr Marzena Raszewska-Steglinska is a member of ESCRS and joined Optimax in 2011.
