IntraLase Wavefront LASIK By Tiffany Cartlidge

April, 2009

I went swimming a couple of weeks ago, and couldn't believe that I could see all of the posters around the pool. It was amazing. With being a musician, I wear headphones a lot and obviously that's a little bit awkward when you're wearing glasses. So that's been a big change.

Everybody says the same, but getting up in the morning and being able to see the clock, seeing what time it is. And obviously seeing to my young daughter as well, without having to find my glasses. I could just see straight away, and it's been 7 weeks since I've had the treatment done and it's still amazing me now.

The Optimax staff were wonderful, right from the start I found that, I'd been to another company before and I found that Optimax had been a lot more informative, they gave me a lot more information about the actual treatment, what was going to happen afterwards and, you know, costs and things like that as well. And also the machines that they test your eyes with, there was a lot more of that here. And that's what pushed me really, to have the treatment done in the end.

It's just amazing to be in there for 15 minutes and then you come out and you can see straight away.

All our success stories are volunteered by Optimax patients who are so delighted with results of their treatment that they wanted to share their experience with others.
