How to Book a Laser Eye Surgery Consultation

Please have your eyesight prescription to hand.
If your personal assessment confirms that you are suitable for laser eye surgery, we can go ahead and book your consultation appointment.
Most of our Customer Care Team have had laser eye treatment with Optimax so will also be able to answer any questions you may have and help you learn more about our life-changing vision correction treatments.

Contact Lens Removal
Standby appointments are not practical for contact lens wearers, as these need to be removed for certain periods prior to attending your consultation and laser eye surgery appointments. The required removal period is one day for soft/disposable lenses, three weeks for hard/gas permeable and one week for soft toric lenses.
Time off Work
You will need to take three or four days off work after having LASEK laser eye surgery and about two days if you have LASIK eye surgery.
Whether you have LASEK or LASIK treatment, you should refrain from driving until you are confident your eyesight has recovered and you have been advised that it is safe to do so.
We strongly recommend that you arrange for a friend of relative to accompany you home after both your consultation and laser eye treatment.
